Visual Lease is seeking an energetic and creative Business Development Representative to join our rapidly growing sales team to help us manage the growing demand for our solutions and to drive new customer engagement! The ideal candidate for this role will have exceptional communication skills and a passion for interacting with potential clients and moving leads through the sales pipeline. This will be an on-site position based in New Jersey.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  1. Represent Visual Lease by being the first point of contact for new prospects.
  2. Evaluate prospect quality and potential for future sales.
  3. Determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward, ensuring timely follow-up from the senior sales executives.
  4. Maintain a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods.
  5. Support sales teams on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts.
  6. Identify challenges when speaking with prospects and provide practical solutions.
  7. Promote positive insights to prospects as a product knowledge specialist and advise on the advantages of our product.
  8. Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings.
  9. Schedule calls and demos for the sales team.
  10. Conduct market research to identify new leads.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited not-for-profit University or College required.
  2. At least 6-12 months prior work experience.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be comfortable speaking with financial professionals and executives.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain productivity, making outbound calls every day.
  5. Ability to publicly represent Visual Lease and CoStar Group with internal and external customers, partners & alliances, and at events and seminars.
  6. A track record of commitment to prior employers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience selling SaaS products or in the software industry.
  2. Strong work ethic and eager to learn and make new connections with prospects.
  3. Passion to work as a team player.
  4. Highly organized and excellent follow-through.
  5. Experience with Salesforce.

This position offers a base salary range of $70,000-$75,000, based on relevant skills and experience and a generous uncapped commission and benefits plan.
