Social Media and Video Marketer Job at Geekplus America Inc in Atlanta

Geekplus is seeking a Social Media and Video Marketer to join its Americas marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing written content (blogs), social media posts and video packages. The candidate must be a native-English speaker who is able to write quickly and on deadline. This role also calls for video production skills. The candidate should be able to shoot and edit in the field as same-day turnaround videos (event coverage) is a big part of this job.

As a Social Media and Video Marketer, you will also be responsible for executing social media campaigns on LinkedIn, YouTube and our company blog. We are a B2B robotics company and sometimes our content can be technical as we write for an informed audience. This most important attribute we are looking for is the ability to take complex information and deliver it to our audience in an easy-to-understand way on deadline.

Were looking for someone to join the team in our office in Suwanee, Georgia or remotely working from home.

Duties and Responsibilities

Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original blog posts and videos)

Collaborate with sales and product team to ensure brand consistency and technical accuracy

Travel to trade shows/Geekplus events for event coverage. We are also expanding into Latin America so Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.

Assist the Americas marketing team in creating promotional material for trade shows and events. Copy editing and basic design (Canva/Photoshop) will make up a large part of your daily work

Generate monthly reports that assess reach and effectiveness on social channels

Required Experience/Skills

Rapid writing and editing skills without using Chat GPT

Fast editing abilities for quick turnaround event videos (24 hours for events)

An eye for design/photography/video composition

Expert skills in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut

Proficient in After Effects or other motion graphics software

Expert skills in Adobe Photoshop and Canva

Experience in B2B marketing preferred

Native English speaker

Our team will be traveling to Latin America. Spanish speaking skills a plus.

Proven work experience as a social media manager/video editor

Hands on experience in content management

Analytical and multitasking skills

A bachelors degree in journalism, production, video editing, or a related field

Relevant work experience focusing on B2B and social media
