About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Marketing and Communications to lead the strategic direction and implementation of programs that align with the organization's mission and goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of local external communications, public affairs, brand management, advertising, events, visitor services, and emergency/crisis communications. This role requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a Master's, and at least 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years in the healthcare sector. The Executive Director will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and the Office of Philanthropy to develop and execute the marketing strategy and plan, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, and timely programs. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include establishing the strategic direction for marketing and communications, developing service-oriented processes, and managing the creation of brand assets to enhance the organization's visibility. The role also involves driving regional and local recognition through earned media and strategic clinical marketing, as well as engaging with key external constituents. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing and communications, strong leadership and team management skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders. Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and excellent communication abilities are essential, as is the capacity to serve as a spokesperson for the organization when required.
