Elevance Health is hiring: Marketing Copy Editor I in Mason

Location: This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid workforce strategy which includes virtual work and 1-2 days in office per week.

The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles and a 1-hour commute to one of our Elevance Health major office (PulsePoint) locations. Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection.

The Marketing Copy Editor I is responsible for providing creative, proofreading, and technical writing support for less complex marketing communication materials.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in editing and revising various written materials, including letters and marketing collateral that provide a consistent message about our company and products.
• Balance a high volume of work with attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ensure all materials meet internal and external business and legal standards, follow appropriate corporate standards, guidelines, and approval processes, and are error-free.
• Take input from Editorial Managers to make necessary content revisions.
• Assist with process improvements that support operational excellence, and support business initiatives (plain language, standardization, going paperless, etc.).

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 1 year of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

• Proofreading experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Experience in health care or managed care preferred. IE compliance and regulatory or Medicaid and or Medicare.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the hourly rate for this specific position is $25.60 to $41.89.
