With a strong commitment to delivering top-notch solutions, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Manager of Educational Development to join our team and contribute to the success of our education program portfolio, as part of the business development division for our client, the Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC).
ACCC represents over 2,100 cancer programs across the country with 45,000+ individuals in the membership. The organization represents the entire cancer care team and supports its membership through advocacy and education.
Ideal Candidate
This role requires a dynamic individual who can drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, foster partnerships, and enhance the reach and impact of our offerings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales planning and execution, preferably for non-profits and associations in the medical/healthcare space.
Job Summary
The Manager is responsible for growing sponsorship, exhibit and advertising revenue for a dedicated portfolio of nonprofit clients in the field of oncology, generating $1M+ in collective gross annual sales. In this role, the Manager cultivates and nurtures existing client relationships while identifying new prospects for support. In addition to developing relationships with new industry partners who would benefit from alignment with CMI clients, the Manager is also responsible for creating new viable revenue streams and support models, ensuring financial stability year over year.
The Manager reports directly to the Senior Director of Corporate Relations.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage and balance a portfolio of clients
- Generate non-dues revenue of $1M+ annually
- Oversee and manage all interactions with industry supporter companies
- Create cross-sale promotions and value driven sponsorship benefits packages
- Grow existing sponsorship sales programs by researching, analyzing and engaging new markets and potential supporters
- Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline according to the financial goals
- Demonstrate growth and success in up-sell initiatives
- Understand competitive landscapes and sales strategies
- Implement sales best practices
- Maintain a consultative, relationship-based approach for sustainable revenue generation
- Meet and/or exceed quarterly sales targets and stretch goals
- Develop effective sales tools and prospectus brochures
- Provide monthly sales progress reports to clients
- Maintain CRM business rules as set forth by the Senior Director of Corporate Relations
- Be a role model for the company culture
- Collaborate effectively with other CMI/MJH departments and client teams
- Provide creative input for event-related activities
Measuring Performance:
- Meeting and/or exceeding annual financial sales targets
- Meeting and/or exceeding quarterly sales goals
- Managing a portfolio contributing gross sales of $1M+ per year
- Thinking and working in both analytical and creative terms
- New leads generated and pipeline growth
- Activity volume on new accounts
- Acquisition and retention of accounts
- Conversion Rates, new revenue streams
- Sales forecasting and projections for client portfolio
Knowledge, Skills and Training required:
