Roles and Responsibilities

Content Management:

  • Maintain the Marketing Portal (SharePoint), ensuring files, photos, and design assets are organized and accessible.
  • Manage the collateral library in SharePoint, tagging and organizing all content to ensure it is up to date.
  • Archive outdated content and alert the manager for decisions on updates or removals.
  • Publish blog posts and assist in publishing website content.
  • Ensure all website content adheres to SEO best practices for optimal performance.
  • Schedule and publish content on social media platforms, focusing primarily on LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Post internal content and marketing announcements on Cerium's Intranet Portal.

Event Support:

  • Assist with the planning and execution of marketing events, including trade shows, conferences, company-hosted events, and webinars.
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including booking services, ordering materials, packing and shipping supplies, registering Cerium attendees, and ensuring internal teams are fully informed of event details.
  • Set up webinar logistics (scheduling, registration form creation, etc.).
  • Publish and schedule event communications (publish events on website, use event information provided by marketing manager to create email invitations, event reminders, and event follow-up communications).
  • Maintain event calendars and keep event details up to date in the marketing portal.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist the Marketing Manager with lead management and tracking in the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Maintain and track marketing communication preferences to ensure compliance with customer preferences and data privacy standards.
  • Support the Marketing Manager by compiling and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from marketing campaigns, events, social media, and web content to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor and organize all event-related expenses and receipts, assisting with accurate expense reporting and budget tracking.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in data entry for CRM systems, email lists, and campaign management tools.
  • Assist in managing relationships with external vendors, such as printers, marketing agencies, and promotional product suppliers, including obtaining quotes and coordinating deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Basic proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to communicate positively and effectively with customers and fellow employees.
  • Be flexible and willing to adapt to the changing needs and priorities.
  • Must be a team player and willing to assist other team members.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.

Desired Skills (optional, but nice to have)

  • Familiarity with collaboration platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and/or Webex.
  • Experience with WordPress and Elementor or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $21.00 to $26.00 per hour.
  • Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
