RTA US is hiring: Senior Hardware Technical Writer in Cupertino

Position: Senior Hardware Technical Writer

Duration: 6 months

Location: Cupertino CA (Hybrid)

Pay Range: $75/hr to $78hr on W2 (As per experience)

We are seeking an experienced technical writer to work in a cross-functional team on a hardware industry standard speciation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a public-facing document and collaborate with engineers in company and other technology companies. Responsibilities

• Edit and re-write existing standards documents for brevity and clarity
• Attend regular meetings with SMEs
• Initiate and conduct document reviews for accuracy and adherence to style guides
• Manage deliverables and deadlines

Qualifications

• BS/MS in engineering (electronics or CS) with at least 10 years of work experience
• Prociency with English grammar and punctuation
• Strong writing skills • Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and self-driven
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and to manage workload efficiently
• Extensive experience with MSWord and applying Industry style guides

Preferred

• Experience writing for public standards and regulatory bodies
• Design experience with hardware interfaces
