Company Description

Picasso & Wine is a locally owned Paint & Sip Art Studio in Reno, NV. We offer a range of art classes to the public and host private events for groups and local businesses. Our studio features a full bar serving wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for an Artist/Creative Assistant at Picasso & Wine (2-3 shifts per week). The Artist will be responsible for leading art classes, guiding participants in creating their own masterpieces, and providing a fun and engaging experience for all guests. As an assistant you will help prep the studio for events, assist the artist and bartender during classes, take photos, and post on social media.

Qualifications

1. Experience in acrylic and canvas painting
2. Experience in other mediums and art forms welcome
3. Demonstrated artistic skills and creativity
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, social environment
6. Previous teaching or instructing experience is a plus
7. Passion for art and creating a positive experience for guests
8. Availability to work evenings and weekends
9. Strong work ethic with references
