Summary of Position

Responsible for development and implementation of marketing communications and outreach, primarily utilizing social media marketing and supporting outreach at locations worldwide.

Minimum Required Education

Bachelor’s Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education required; or Associate’s Degree with an additional two years’ experience.

• Degrees in marketing, communications, graphic design or related field preferred.

Minimum Required Experience

One year paid work experience in marketing or marketing communications with a Bachelor’s degree; or three years paid work experience in marketing or marketing communications with an Associate’s degree.

• Experience in social media marketing and content development required.
• Some video production experience preferred.
• Relationship management systems and working in education with military students preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency in electronic mass communications, social media marketing and online content development; knowledge of scheduling software preferred.
• Basic video creation/editing skills for the web.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, HTML /Web Development Software.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign).
• Experience with data analysis and reporting.
• Experience in coordinating and supporting events.
• Working knowledge of project management.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, educational colleagues and the community at large.
• Must have initiative, creativity, flexibility and resourcefulness in fulfilling work assignments and implementing long-range program improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively and in a timely manner.

Hours

Full-time, indicate working hours - M-Th 7:30 am-5:30 pm; F 7:30-11:30 am.
