Acosta Group's dynamic Enterprise Marketing team crafts integrated, high-impact external marketing that strengthens our brand's voice and industry presence. As the Content Writer, you'll create compelling content across various formats to drive brand visibility, business growth, and talent attraction.
This new role reports to Acosta Group’s Vice President of Content Marketing, a key Enterprise Marketing team member reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer. We support marketing efforts for the enterprise and Acosta Group agencies, including Acosta, Crossmark, and Premium Retail Services.
You will be responsible for authoring content for Acosta Group's core pillars, including:
Thought leadership
Product and services marketing
Industry presence and reputation
Enterprise news
Talent attraction
Associate engagement
Work will include articles from executives, client case studies, ongoing social media and web copy, brand sizzle reels and product videos. The ideal candidate is both a storyteller and a strategic thinker, capable of balancing punchy creativity with delivering results that support business objectives while upholding editorial excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Content Creation: Collaborate with marketing, communication, executive leadership, and business unit leaders to develop content strategies that position Acosta Group and its agencies as industry experts.
Content Leadership: Serve as an editor across the team for various content formats, including social media, paid media, videos, blogs, web landing pages, infographics, podcasts, advertorials, and more. Understand and organize research and information from stakeholders and structure it into a clear and compelling story that drives awareness and action. Originate and spearhead creative content initiatives.
Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the brand, design, multimedia and external agencies to ensure polished, visually appealing content that effectively communicates key messages and is easily digestible by our audience. Build out distinct brand voice (tone and style) guides for enterprise and pillar agencies to ensure our brand voice and narrative are carried through all content.
Emerging Trends and Innovation: Think about content programmatically, with a strong understanding of the best ways to repurpose and repackage content to get the most out of it. Monitor market trends and competitor messaging to help shape the content creation strategy and suggest new and creative ideas to stay competitive. Stay current with digital content trends, formats, and strategic opportunities, proactively identifying ways to elevate our storytelling approach. Enhance community-building engagement and associate-generated content strategies that build brand equity and credibility.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or related field.
5+ years of experience in writing, content creation and content planning, including experience writing for executive-level leaders.
Bonus for B2B specialization and retail or foodservice industry expertise.
Proven track record of full-funnel content that drives results.
Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create a consistent brand voice, produce engaging copy across multi-variant campaigns and drive measurable results.
Familiarity working within collaborative systems (Microsoft Teams, Monday, Gather Content).
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with an ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise and engaging content for diverse audiences.
Strong communication skills and ability to influence/advise key stakeholders.
Strong understanding of digital channels and content formats, with the ability to strategically modify writing approach appropriately for each marketing platform, content format or brand voice.
Agile and organized project management, capable of prioritizing incoming requests and driving forward multiple highly cross-functional projects simultaneously.
Collaborative team player comfortable with receiving direct feedback and leading toward consensus.
Knowledgeable in brand standards, with strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality, impactful, and consistent content across multimedia and written content.
Ensure compliance with established brand guidelines.
