Social Media Specialist & Content Creator

Abundant Technology Group seeks a versatile and dynamic Social Media Specialist and Content Creator. This person will drive the team’s efforts to build engaging and educational social media and video content and ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with business goals and timelines.

We are a dynamic and fast-paced company dedicated to producing high-quality, consistent content for our audience. We’re seeking a creative and driven individual with a passion for videography, graphic design, and social media creation to join our team part-time.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Edit & Produce Content: Use company resources to edit long-form YouTube videos with B-roll, text overlays, and other engaging elements.
  2. Create Short-Form Content: Clip YouTube videos into short-form content for social media platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  3. Design Eye-Catching Assets: Create engaging thumbnails, static social media posts, and graphics that align with our branding. Additionally, design images and visuals for the website.
  4. Schedule & Manage Posts: Plan and schedule content across platforms to ensure posts go live on time.
  5. Script Refinement: Review scripts and use tools to ensure content aligns with our goals and objectives.
  6. Stay Trend-Savvy: Monitor social media trends and suggest new content ideas to keep us ahead of the curve.
  7. Optional UGC Creation: If you’re comfortable creating user-generated content (UGC), even better.

Who You Are:

  1. A passionate video editor and designer with a strong eye for aesthetics and branding.
  2. Up-to-date on social media trends and best practices.
  3. A self-starter who can manage your own schedule and meet deadlines.
  4. A great communicator, able to respond to outreach within 24-28 hours.
  5. Enthusiastic about creating new and innovative content.

Skills & Requirements:

  1. Proficiency in video editing (Descript experience preferred).
  2. Strong graphic design skills for thumbnails and static social media posts (Canva experience preferred).
  3. Knowledge of social media scheduling tools.
  4. Basic project management to ensure timely content delivery.
  5. Prior experience creating videos or short-form content (examples required).
  6. Your own laptop and ability to work remotely.
  7. Availability for 10 hours/week to start, with potential to grow.

Work Environment:

  1. Hybrid role: Work remotely with occasional in-person meetings in Louisville, KY.
  2. Flexible hours, but quick responses are expected.
  3. Training is provided, but a passion for video creation, design, and social media is essential.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
