We are looking for a skilled PCB Designer to join our team and develop advanced printed circuit boards (PCBs) for aerospace systems. In this collaborative role, you’ll work with engineers and designers to create solutions for prototype and production systems, focusing on schematic drawings, PCB layouts, and design documentation using PADS software.
Responsibilities: Design and develop complex PCBs for prototypes and production systems. Create schematic drawings and PCB layouts using PADS Power PCB and Logic software. Validate designs to meet ANSI, IPC, and internal standards. Manage design documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and fabrication/assembly drawings. Interface with PCB vendors to coordinate production. Identify and resolve design issues, suggesting improvements. Stay updated on CAD techniques, IPC standards, and design software.
Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Electronics Technology, CAD Design, or equivalent certification. 3–7 years of PCB design experience using PADS Power PCB and Logic. Proficiency in PCB design concepts, ANSI Y4.15, and IPC standards. Experience with schematic capture and PCB design for RF, digital, analog, and mixed-signal boards. Strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred: Experience with high-speed, multi-layer PCBs. Familiarity with OrCAD, Creo, and prototype/production workflows.
