Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team! As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our brand presence, engage with our audience, and support our overall marketing objectives. You’ll also be responsible for creating engaging videos and graphics as well as managing all our social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Management:
- Develop and curate engaging content across multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
- Write, design, and schedule posts that align with brand voice and strategy.
- Ensure all content is consistent with the company’s branding, values, and objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create and implement social media strategies.
- Identify target audiences and tailor content to engage them effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform changes, and industry best practices.
Community Management:
- Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner.
- Cultivate positive online relationships with followers, influencers, and brand advocates.
- Manage customer inquiries and feedback through social platforms.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track social media performance using analytics tools and generate regular reports on engagement, reach, and growth.
- Monitor key metrics (likes, shares, comments, traffic, conversions, etc.) to evaluate effectiveness.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to enhance future campaigns.
- Work with internal teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing, public relations, and content strategies.
- Collaborate with influencers, brand partners, and other external stakeholders to boost brand presence.
- Monitor brand mentions and relevant industry conversations to identify opportunities for engagement.
- Stay informed about social media trends, competitor activities, and emerging platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing Business Social Media platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging and shareable content.
- Proficient in social media management tools and analytics.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
