Position Summary

The Paid Media Supervisor excels in media strategy, execution, and analysis, while managing hands-on tasks such as campaign setup, optimization, and reporting across various advertising platforms. The role is responsible for driving brand awareness, engagement, and conversions for clients. Working closely with the Media Director, Media Team, and Account Service Teams, the Paid Media Supervisor ensures that paid media campaigns are precisely targeted and optimized to meet clients' goals, budgets, and timelines. This role balances both client-facing and internal responsibilities, requiring strategic oversight and executional expertise.

Primary Focus

The Paid Media Supervisor plays a pivotal role in leading the media team, contributing to the recommendation, implementation, and management of media programs. This role requires a deep understanding of how paid media integrates into the broader client and agency ecosystem. The Paid Media Supervisor works directly with clients and internal teams to establish the most effective media plans to meet objectives.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead the development, implementation, optimization, and analysis of paid media strategies and campaigns based on client objectives and goals.
  2. Serve as a strategic resource for paid media efforts, supporting the Media Director in planning and development.
  3. Create and present detailed campaign reports, analyze results, and provide data-driven optimization recommendations.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution.
  5. Monitor and manage campaign budgets, ensuring spend stays within agreed-upon limits, and manage billing tasks including insertion order creation and invoice reconciliation.
  6. Stay informed on industry trends, platform updates, best practices, and ensure compliance with advertising standards and regulations.
  7. Foster productive and positive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  8. Demonstrate expertise in conversion tracking, including setup through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

Qualifications

  1. 5-10 years of relevant experience in an agency or in-house media team environment.
  2. Proficient in major paid digital platforms (Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, DSPs, Google Tag Manager and others as required) and knowledgeable about their role in larger media plans.
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  4. Proven ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and tasks.
  5. Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to serve as a subject matter expert for both clients and internal teams.
  6. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make recommendations based on performance metrics.
