What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Mentor and coach team members while leading major initiatives within the organization
  2. Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into system-specific functional requirements
  3. Design and implement software applications, ensuring architecture meets design specifications
  4. Supervise a cross-functional team to deliver timely, high-quality, and well-tested code

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced degree preferred
  2. 10+ years’ experience building full stack applications using modern frameworks and robust testing practices
  3. 4+ years managing engineering teams
  4. Proficient in .NET, Java, and JavaScript/React development languages at an expert level
  5. Exceptional organizational and project management skills utilizing an Agile framework

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  1. Experience with AWS, AzureDevOps, Visual Studio, GitHub platforms, and application environments
  2. Advanced expertise in designing programs, application systems, and APIs
  3. Proven ability to balance delivery timelines with technical debt considerations
  4. Solid coding practices, including writing technical specifications and conducting peer code reviews
  5. Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical personnel
