Overview

The successful candidate will join a small and dynamic biotech company preparing for the successful commercialization of barzolvolimab, our first investigational product. Barzolvolimab is currently in phase 3 development for chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU). CSU is a devastating skin disease affecting about 1% of the worldwide population resulting in unbearably itchy hives that last for at least 6 weeks but often for months or years. More effective therapies are needed that target the source of the inflammatory response, provide more complete control, and restore quality of life. Other potential indications including chronic inducible urticaria (CindU), prurigo nodularis (PN), eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) and atopic dermatitis (AD), are currently in phase 2 clinical development.

The Executive Director, Marketing will report into the Chief Commercial Officer. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized and will lead the development of commercial capabilities that ultimately create value for patients and Healthcare Providers (HCPs).

Responsibilities

Establish the overarching vision, strategy, and roadmap for the successful commercialization of barzolvolimab and subsequent portfolio products. Build marketing capabilities to support the execution of vision and strategy. Develop and execute go-to-market plan to support the successful launch of Barzolvolimab. Provide input on target product profile development, market research, business justifications, BD&L and related activities. Provide input into short & long-term business strategy, planning & forecasting, lead development of strategies & tactics, positioning and messaging. Provide commercial leadership, support and expertise to late-stage (phase 3) program development team(s). Collaborate with Access, New Product Planning, Market Access, Market Research, Commercial Operations and Medical Affairs teams to develop and gain alignment on robust cross-functional commercial plans. Ability to articulate a vision and provide clear direction in a variety of scientific and business forums Proven ability to effectively lead teams and groups through decision-making processes and timely decisions, taking in to account appropriate data analysis and critical information Ability to drive, lead and manage through periods of ambiguity and with a willingness to challenge the status quo Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required. MBA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in biopharma marketing, with a strong focus on specialty care, especially immunology and Inflammation. Proven track record of hiring, developing and retaining key talent Recent experience with launch preparation & execution in immunology and inflammation Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment. Demonstrated ability to motivate, mentor, lead and provide clear expectations and priorities for the team Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Strong prioritization and decision-making skills with the ability to understand how decisions fit into the broader context of corporate strategies.
