About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP - Retention Marketing to join their consumer marketing and media team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the overall strategy and execution of retention marketing for the company's suite of streaming products. This pivotal role involves developing a deep understanding of subscriber analytics, building and managing retention plans, and working closely with cross-functional teams to increase engagement and reduce churn. The VP will also be tasked with developing comprehensive subscriber communication plans, setting target KPIs, and leveraging strategic pricing promotions to maximize engagement opportunities. Applicants for the VP - Retention Marketing position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10-15 years of marketing experience, with at least 8 years specifically in customer retention marketing. A strategic mindset, strong knowledge of CRM systems, and experience in content-driven lifecycle strategies are essential. The role requires expertise in analytical tools and methodologies, as well as the ability to translate performance metrics into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading retention efforts, be adept at A/B testing, and have excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience in a subscription-based streaming service or DTC environment is a plus, and a background in working with product, engineering, and technology teams is also beneficial.
