Education/experience Advanced degree in a related field required (e.g., marketing, communication, advertising), or a combination of experience, training and education that equates to an advanced degree. Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience; higher education preferred. Job Summary
As part of the admissions communications team, this position will have the following responsibilities for both prospective undergraduate and graduate communication efforts:
Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive communications plans that support recruitment and enrollment goals, including managing and facilitating the review and approval process for marketing and communication deliverables with academic program clients. Design and maintain internal/external portals in collaboration with the admissions operations team. Lead creation of email and text marketing campaigns, including set up, configuration, testing, though the Slate system with an eye to best practices and personalization through liquid mark-up and content blocks. Support design of social media/videos and print collateral in collaboration with the university's strategic communications team and campus partners. Ensure all style, content and messaging is aligned within university brand standards. Track and analyze performance of individual messages and full communication plans. Support recruitment team in Slate-based outreach strategies and provide recommendations based on message and audience. Work with the Strategic Communications team and the university's advertising vendor to track leads generated through external ads into/through Slate to measure/report on those leads who ultimately enroll. Required Qualifications
Experience working with Slate or another CRM Ability to plan and create email, text and print communications for a variety of audiences Exceptional written and communication skills and proven ability to multi-task Demonstrated ability to work effectively in both a team and independently producing high-quality results Ability to collaborate with all levels of campus partners and stakeholders Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) Experience adhering to brand standards Knowledge of conditional logic, liquid markup and query writing Experience tracking and analyzing message performance to inform improvements Experience in higher education setting
Hiring Range Commensurate with experience, up to $70,000
