Job Summary
Reporting to the AVP of Strategic Communications, the Marketing Manager will oversee the university's marketing initiatives and advertising campaigns, working closely with Marketing and Communication teammates, Admissions Office staff and marketing vendors to meet the university's branding and enrollment goals.
The manager will develop, execute and measure a variety of campaigns to drive overall brand awareness and engagement, as well as inquiries, leads, applications and enrollment in the university's undergraduate, graduate and continuing education programs. This will entail meeting with internal stakeholders to understand academic offerings and enrollment goals; collaborating with teammates and vendors to develop strategic plans, consistent messaging and compelling design; trafficking creative assets to meet campaign deadlines; and monitoring and reporting on campaign performance.
The manager must stay apprised of the latest marketing and advertising trends and technologies across print, out-of-home and digital platforms and develop a deep understanding of the university's degree and certificate offerings, including how they align with different target audiences to meet their educational and workforce development needs.
Required Qualifications
Experience developing, managing and monitoring marketing and advertising campaigns Experience working with project management software, such as such as Lytho, Asana, Hive, Basecamp and Kantata, as well as campaign performance dashboards Knowledge of the latest marketing and advertising trends and technologies Experience working with outside vendors to develop and execute campaigns on deadline and budget Experience reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns in light of strategic goals and key performance indicators Strong communications and interpersonal skills, including collaborating with clients to understand their needs and set appropriate expectations Excellent organizational skills and time management skills Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and assignments simultaneously while coordinating the efforts of teammates and vendors Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player and independently while producing high-quality results
Preferred Qualifications
Hiring Range Commensurate with experience, up to $65,400
