LRSO Technical Writer/Editor Job at Torch Technologies in Eglin Air Force Base

Torch Technologies is seeking a Technical Writer/Editor to join a team supporting the Carriage Equipment Integrated Product Team (IPT) within Long Range Standoff (LRSO) System Program Office (SPO). This position requires a highly motivated individual with technical writing and editing of engineering materials and documents.

Essential duties include:

• Manage, process, write, and coordinate acquisition and technical documentation such as Statement of Work (SOW), Statement of Objective (SOO), Request for Proposal (RFP), Source Selection Reports, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), etc.

• Interface with schedulers to maintain program top level schedule and general program and contracting schedules.

• Develop program presentation material and manage and execute program meetings.

• Monitor and advise the team of changes in acquisition regulations as necessary to ensure proper program source selection and program execution to include writing documentation.

• Maintain and monitor program files and taskers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent discipline. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of BS degree.

• Must have at least 3 years in program management and technical writing experience or equivalent.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Must have an active SECRET DoD security clearance.

• Must be eligible for a TOP SECRET clearance.

Additional Notes:

This position requires candidates to possess a current SECRET security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to maintain a SECRET security clearance will result in a candidate being ineligible for this position.

This position is located at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.
