ASRC Federal is seeking qualified candidates for a USAF Interoperability and Standards Web Developer to support our ACC A589 customer located in the Langley AFB location.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES:

  • Develop and update web application software used to support USAF Interoperability Enhancement Tools (USAF Capabilities and Limitations (C&L), Vocabulary OneSource, Joint Tactical Data Link (JTDL) Interoperability Analysis (JTIA), and the Air Force System Integration Testing (AFSIT) Testing & Compliance Management Tool).
  • Support all lifecycles of the software development process including design, analysis, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of USAF Interoperability Enhancement Tools.
  • Provide operational and technical assistance to install and configure system specific server hardware and software to include Oracle 12c/18c/19c, Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2016/2019, ASP.NET, Visual Studio 2012, Internet Information Server (IIS)8+, Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, and any additional end user applications like those required for 3rd party communication (i.e. those communication layers found in Web service like Service Oriented Architectures or required for outer-net communication).
  • Install Microsoft Windows Server security patches and perform software/firmware updates as required to supplement automated updates.
  • Develop, manage, and test all backup and recovery plans for USAF Interoperability Enhancement Tools as required for SIPRNET, NIPRNET, and other external internet environments.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems and deficiencies requiring maintenance on USAF Interoperability Enhancement Tools.
  • Apply Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) to USAF Interoperability Enhancement Tool web services and servers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Four (4) years of experience (within the last 10 years) in software development in a Microsoft C# and Oracle/PL SQL environment.
  • Four (4) years of experience (within the last 10 years) working with Structured Query Language (SQL), Metadata/Data Modeling, extensible Markup Language (XML), XML Schema (XSD), Web Services Description Language (WSDL), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Unified Modeling Language (UML), and XQuery.
  • Four (4) years of experience (within the last 10 years) working with Microsoft Server 2016/2019 operating system administration.

EDUCATION:

  • Associate degree in a technical field (such as engineering, computer science, information systems management, etc.).

CLEARANCE LEVEL:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

CERTIFICATION(S):

  • Responsible for funding and maintaining any required commercial information technology and computer/computer systems-related certifications and training (e.g., Security +) required to meet this task and subtasks. CompTia Security + certification is required for this position due to tasks that require administrative rights.
