About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales and Marketing to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the company's agile diversification into new markets and expanding its current market base. This role is pivotal in overseeing the national company pipeline of potential distribution center management customers, with a specific focus on the automotive target market. The VP will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies tailored to automotive customers, as well as for targeted growth in select non-automotive OEM markets, particularly in the vertical industrial segment. Applicants for the Vice President of Sales and Marketing position at the company must have a proven track record in sales, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in third-party logistics automotive sales. The role requires a deep understanding of the automotive OEM indirect purchasing groups and the ability to collaborate with the product team to propose logistics solutions that meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in comprehensive supply chain solutions, including warehouse management systems and labor solutions, and be adept at sales funnel management and structuring sales quotas. Extensive travel is a key requirement, as is a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or logistics.
