We are a remote-forward agency where staff work primarily from home but also gather in person as needed in co-working spaces. Our staff are strategically located within a 35-mile radius of our strategic hubs of New York City, Washington DC, Los Angeles, and the San Francisco Bay Area regions.We are currently seeking a Senior Account Executive within our rapidly growing advertising practice with a passion for making social change. They will play a pivotal role in the trafficking of campaigns and supporting the operations of accounts. This requires a detail-oriented mindset, comfort with a fast-paced working environment, and a passion for using ads to affect social change.

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for creative trafficking, media planning research, and general account support. Perfect candidates will have 3-4 years of experience at an advertising agency, political campaign, or advocacy non-profit in a media planning role.

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Trafficking and Media Deployment

  • Responsible for trafficking small and medium sized advertising campaigns
  • Update trafficking spreadsheets to ensure internal and external alignment.
  • Manage key creative deadlines with vendors and outlets.
  • Support in developing media flowcharts and avails.

Research and Reporting

  • Conduct research on publicly available information regarding demographics and attitudes of audiences.
  • Collate reporting from vendors and platforms on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Translate technical advertising nomenclature into verbiage understood by the client.
  • Communicate performance of simple campaigns to clients on a regular basis
  • Provide insight on weekly media optimizations.
  • Contribute to comprehensive final reports on campaign performance, both in terms of outputs against benchmarks and results of controlled experiments.

Digital Marketing

  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and other insight/ traffic tools
  • Responsible for installing Google Tag Manager on agency-developed websites.
  • Develop UTM codes for ad source attribution.
  • Compile email and SMS reporting to support direct response campaigns.
  • Support copywriting and content development of email, SMS, or social media campaigns as needed.

Administrative

  • Act as a principal note-taker on internal and external calls.
  • Schedule meetings with agency and client teams.

Client Relations

  • Prepare and/or review activity reports and status reports for clients
  • Contribute to client decks and media plan presentations.

Qualifications:

  • 3 - 4 years’ experience with advertising, digital marketing or creative trafficking.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks under tight deadlines, and interact and perform in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively – both verbal and nonverbal, with various levels of staff, clients, contractors, and media
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, optimism, and flexibility in approach to project assignment
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • Demonstrated writing and editing skills
