Position Summary The UF Trade Marketing Director is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans focused on driving sales through vertical market partners by building strong relationships, negotiating promotional agreements, managing in-store merchandising, and analyzing sales data to optimize product visibility and maximize market penetration within a designated territory or across multiple channels; collaborating closely with sales teams and brand marketing to achieve sales targets and brand objectives. Key Responsibilities

Partner Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including marketing, buyers, managers, dealers, and store operations teams. Negotiate promotional agreements, including in-store application to maximize product visibility and sales. Develop customized marketing plans aligned with customer strategies and customer needs. In-Store and Showroom Execution: Design and implement impactful in-store merchandising strategies, including displays, signage, and promotional materials. Monitor and manage in-store execution and web presence to ensure brand standards and promotional compliance. Collaborate with partners on staff training and product knowledge initiatives. Sales Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales volume, market share, and promotional effectiveness. Develop actionable insights and reports to inform future marketing strategies. Promotional Planning and Execution: Develop and execute targeted promotional campaigns including meetings, events, coop marketing programs, training and UF marketing support. Coordinate with customer marketing teams on the development of promotional materials and messaging. Manage promotional budgets and track ROI. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams to identify sales and training opportunities and align marketing efforts. Collaborate with brand marketing to ensure alignment with overall brand strategy and messaging. Partner with product development and merchandising teams to provide market insights and feedback on new product launches. Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in trade marketing, preferably within the textiles industry. Strong understanding of retail landscape, sales channels, and distribution networks. Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in sales data analysis and reporting. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with key partners. Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing plans and promotional strategies. Strong project management skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
