About the role
Are you a visionary storyteller with a passion for content and social media?
Do you have a talent for creating impactful, revenue-driving campaigns while leading a team of creatives?
We’re looking for an experienced Creative Director to join our Austin-based team, with a strong focus on social content and strategy, to elevate our brand and drive measurable growth.
What you'll do
- Develop and lead the execution of a strategic content and social media plan to grow engagement, build brand awareness, and generate revenue.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Lead a team of content creators, designers, and social strategists, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to align content initiatives with broader business goals.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, optimize content strategies, and report on key metrics to stakeholders.
- Direct the production of visually compelling graphics, videos, and other creative assets that reflect and enhance our brand identity.
- Stay ahead of content trends, social platform updates, and emerging technologies to keep our creative strategy fresh and relevant.
- Spearhead innovative campaigns that combine storytelling with measurable business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in a leadership role managing content creation and social media strategy, ideally within a publishing or services-based industry.
- Creative Visionary: A proven track record of delivering standout creative campaigns that generate engagement and revenue.
- Revenue-Focused: Deep understanding of content strategies and social media initiatives that drive qualified leads, sales, and ROI.
- Leadership Skills: Experience leading and inspiring a team of creatives to achieve ambitious goals.
- Design Expertise: Proficiency with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design platforms.
- Data-Driven: Ability to analyze metrics, glean insights, and adapt strategies to improve performance.
- Trend-Savvy: Up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and content best practices.
- Strong Communication: Exceptional writing and storytelling skills to craft compelling, on-brand content and messaging.

- Experience in the publishing industry (not required, but highly preferred).
