The client is a fast growing, profitable fintech firm dedicated to providing their clients with robust, intuitive solutions to help them make informed investment decisions and improve operational workflow. Their systems gather and synthesize vast amounts of data throughout the day from the industry's leading data providers, ensuring our clients are operating with the latest available information.

Summary:

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in UX/UI design, a mastery of Figma and CSS, with a portfolio demonstrating proficiency in creating impactful and user-friendly web interfaces. Need someone that can jump into the codes and make changes to how things look independently!

Responsibilities:

  • Drive UX design for optimal product experience
  • Create high-fidelity designs that enhance usability and accessibility of heavy data experiences
  • Partner closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to craft excellent customer experience and integrate visual design seamlessly into product experiences
  • Conduct design reviews, provide feedback to ensure the highest quality of visual execution
  • Stay current on the latest UX design trends and technologies, influencing the future of user experience

UI/UX Development:

  • Lead design-related meetings with key stakeholders to deliver on objectives, and create a consistent, cohesive user experience.
  • Collaborate with all technology and business teams to develop informed design decisions
  • Translate designs into interactive prototypes, and ultimately bring them to end users
  • Advocate for the user with user-centered, empathetic design

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of previous experience in UX design and development - Figma/HTML/CSS
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a solid grasp of design principles
  • Mastery of CSS/SCSS
  • Mastery of Figma
  • Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Solid understanding of web best practices, information architecture, usability, heuristics and accessibility.
  • Up to date with the latest web trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Experience with facilitation/collaboration tools such as Jira, MS Teams.
  • Experience working with design systems.
  • Understanding of Angular
