The Opportunity:

As the Senior Manager, Visual Merchandising, you will be the visionary behind Byredo’s in-store brand experience, creating and executing strategies that elevate our presence across diverse retail channels—boutiques, wholesale, specialty-multi, and independent retail doors. Your role will ensure seamless execution of merchandising, as well as temporary and permanent installations and events, all while embodying Byredo’s unique aesthetic and guidelines. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the visual identity of the brand in the highly creative and competitive world of luxury beauty and fragrance.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Develop and execute the Retail Marketing Plan, including POS strategy, targets, calendars, and budgets for displays and installations (permanent and temporary).
  • Create strategies to excite shoppers, enhance the in-store experience, and drive sales.
  • Guide product placement to reinforce brand messaging and inspire customers.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Store Design, Marketing) to deliver creative executions that align with the brand identity and elevate the retail experience.
  • Maintain POS excellence across retail spaces, adapting strategies to unit and retailer-specific needs.
  • Oversee the design, placement, and implementation of merchandising displays.
  • Develop and communicate quarterly visual merchandising and display guidelines to ensure consistency across locations.
  • Support field teams in executing POS materials and in-store events.
  • Research and implement innovative merchandising solutions to stay ahead of trends.
  • Manage the procurement, budgeting, and distribution of POS materials in collaboration with Global teams.
  • Monitor compliance with Global guidelines for visual merchandising and in-store standards.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to optimize visual merchandising strategies.

We’d love to meet you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in visual Merchandising, Store Design, or other related fields (preferred).
  • 5+ years in Visual Merchandising, Retail Store Design, or Industrial Design, ideally within beauty or fashion.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to achieving goals, delivering strategies, and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Strong graphic design skills with the ability to translate brand identities into compelling 2D and 3D environments.
  • Proficient in tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign (SketchUp, Revit, and AutoCAD a plus).
  • Exceptional visual sensibilities, flexibility, and responsiveness to creative and marketing input.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented approach, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
