The Information Technology team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a top organization that has an opening for a Sr. Web Developer.

Redmond, WA/ Remote
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm PST
Pay Rate Range: $50 - $65/hour W2, based on experience
Duration: 6+ months contract

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

Minimum 5+ years experience with JavaScript and React

Minimum 5+ years experience with building customer-facing products.

Minimum 5+ _ years experience with ability to design user-friendly interfaces and understand user needs.

Summary:
The main function of the Web Developer is to design, code, and create system specifications, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement complex software applications.

Job Responsibilities:
• Design, code, test, document, implement, and maintain application programs and interfaces
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results
• Modify, install, and prepare technical documentation for system software applications
• Monitor systems capacity and performance, plan and execute disaster recovery procedures, and provide technical support
• Identify, escalate and document production impact issues
• Evaluate user requests for new or modified computer programs to determine feasibility, cost, time required and compatibility with current systems and capabilities

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field preferred
• 5+ years experience required
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software
• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles
• Knowledge of good UX design, REST API design and product design
• Expertise in the frontend space with Javascript, React, Redux, Rxjs and in the backend space with either C#, Nodejs, Java or Go
