About the Role
We are seeking a Marketing Content Coordinator to support Yellow Bag Tech’s marketing efforts by creating engaging content, managing campaigns, and maintaining key marketing assets. This role is ideal for a strong writer who enjoys crafting messaging for emails, blog posts, and social media while also coordinating marketing calendars and supporting website transitions.
This position is not responsible for managing marketing-related relationships, but will play a key role in organizing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Writing
- Write and edit blog posts, email campaigns, website content, and social media posts.
- Maintain consistency in brand messaging, voice, and style across all marketing materials.
- Develop content that aligns with marketing goals, SEO strategies, and audience engagement.
Marketing Campaign Coordination
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, ensuring timely scheduling and alignment with company goals.
- Manage the marketing calendar to ensure consistent content rollout.
- Assist in coordinating product launches and campaign rollouts.
Website & Digital Marketing Support
- Maintain and update the company website, ensuring content is fresh, accurate, and aligned with marketing objectives.
- Support the website transition process, ensuring a seamless experience for users.
- Optimize content for SEO and user engagement.
Brand & Content Management
- Maintain and update marketing guides (e.g., brand guide, writing guide, messaging guide).
- Ensure all content adheres to brand standards and conveys a clear, consistent message.
Who You Are
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1+ years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, or communications preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong writing and editing skills across multiple formats (emails, blogs, social media).
- Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress, Wix) and email marketing tools (ActiveCampaign, Apollo).
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite) for simple visual content creation.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and ability to optimize content for search.
Soft Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
