Career Staffing Talent (CST)has partnered with a US-based, growing national sprinkler, fire, and safety company to recruit aFire Sprinkler Design Manager. This role is crucial in helping to expand our design team and is a key part of our company's growth strategy.


The Design Manager will work with a team of Designers and report directly to the branch GM.

Job Summary


As a Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the design and implementation of our fire protection systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage design projects, and contribute significantly to the successful execution of our fire protection initiatives.


Essential Duties


Manage the Design Team to mentor, train and develop team members.

Provide technical support to the sales team as needed.

Provide quality control and direction to produce effective, efficient designs.

Review progress with the design team for tracking budgets.

Collaborate with the design team, project managers, and field superintendents to identify scheduling issues and material/data procurement and maintain efficient progress.u

Review material and design specifications for efficient compliance with contract scope.

Qualifications


Education and Experience

NICET III or IV certification required+ a minimum of 5 years experience as a Design Manager leading and directing a design team with daily design issues regarding requirements and effectiveness.


Computer Skills

Minimum of 3 years in AutoSprink.Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
