Educated Solutions Corp is hiring: Technical Designer in Menomonee Falls

ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Designer to join our client’s Women’s Apparel Design team. This role operates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, assisting in all aspects of sample processing, fit development, and technical design execution. The position will start in Mid-May 2025 and run through Mid-August 2025, working onsite in the Greater Milwaukee area, Mondays-Thursdays and remotely on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process samples, including measuring and prepping for fittings, working with live fit models in-office.
• Use Adobe Illustrator to update design sketches as needed.
• Utilize the PLM system to set up measurement specs, enter fit comments, and upload sample measurements and fit images.
• Take notes during fittings and assist in writing basic fit comments under the guidance of the Technical Design team.
• Capture fit photos, edit, and upload them in the PLM system to provide fit feedback to vendors.
• Assist the Technical Design team in managing workload priorities and effectively communicate task completion.

Required Experience:

• Degree in Apparel Design or Technical Design.
• Previous experience in Technical Design as a Technical Designer or Assistant Technical Designer.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and experience with PLM systems
