Civil Designer Job at Synerfac Technical Staffing in Durham

**This is a full-time permanent position!! The schedule is M-Th**

Our client, a reputable engineering firm in Durham, NC, is seeking a skilled Civil Designer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing design work and calculations for utility and storm drainage layout, stormwater management plans, hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, site grading, and roadway improvements. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers and other designers to ensure precise and accurate project plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities:

• Perform design work and calculations for projects associated with utility and storm drainage layout and design, stormwater management plan design, hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, and site grading.
• Roadway improvements design
• Work with Project Managers and other designers to ensure plans and drawings are precisely prepared and ready for implementation.
• Work with AutoCAD Civil 3D

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in civil design
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (required)
• Experience with utility and storm drainage layout and design, stormwater management plans, hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, and site grading
• PLA license preferred
