Beckwith Mercer LLC seeks a highly skilled Business Solutions Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of business process analysis and user experience (UX/UI) principles. With a specialization in visual design, you will be responsible for the creative direction of digital products, always keeping in mind the client’s brand identity and visual consistency across every deliverable. Key outputs will include user experience (UX) guidelines, user interface (UI) design, ad hoc visual asset creation, print and digital collateral creation, website design/wireframing, and high-end publications of various subject matters.
Among comprehending basic color theory, typography, and iconography, the candidate is required to be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat), Figma, Mural, and various other design/collaboration tools. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to enhance business operations and provide compelling visual and technical content while ensuring a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis and Process Improvement
  • Conduct business process assessments to identify improvement areas and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and analytical reports to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
Graphics and Publication Development
  • Create high-quality graphics, visual assets, and layouts to support various business initiatives, presentations, and reports.
  • Develop and format technical publications, manuals, and reports using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop to ensure professional, visually engaging outputs.
  • Ensure all visual content adheres to branding guidelines and enhances user comprehension.
User Experience and Interface Design
  • Develop intuitive, user-friendly materials that enhance communication and accessibility.
  • Improve the visual structure of documents, reports, and presentations to optimize clarity and impact.
  • Assist in designing and refining digital interfaces for improved functionality and ease of use.
Technical Content Development
  • Write and maintain clear, concise, and well-organized technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and reports.
  • Create compelling PowerPoint presentations and briefing materials for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Leverage Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality, interactive PDFs and other digital publications.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and leadership, to ensure alignment of solutions with organizational goals
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions to gather insights and refine content deliverables.
  • Support business development efforts by preparing visually compelling proposals and marketing materials.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business process analysis, technical documentation, or a similar role.
  • Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat) in developing graphics and publications.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop user-friendly materials and improve document usability.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong visual design and graphics development skills.
  • Proficiency in business process analysis and technical writing.
  • Experience in creating professional publications, reports, and user-friendly materials.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in a clear, structured, and visually appealing manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with government agencies or within a consulting environment.
  • Familiarity with web design, SharePoint design, and digital content management.
  • Knowledge of usability and accessibility standards for digital documents.
