Basile Studio is looking for a creative and committed Architectural Designer with a passion for custom details, holistic design and thrives in fast paced environment.

We are a unique DESIGN and BUILD studio that is fully vertical in its integration of a multitude of different craftsmanship capabilities, ranging from hotels, restaurants, multi-family developments, custom homes to products.

Our custom fabrication studio creates everything in the shell along with all the interior components that make up the whole that comes out of our design studio. Never have this many facets been integrated into one company to provide one-stop for our clients and our developments. Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Each designer is required to lead a project from beginning to end through all phases of design into final install of our custom items.
  • You will be responsible for design/documentation production and project management duties. Included but not limited to:
  • Project/document set up.
  • Concept packages and renderings.
  • 3D Modeling, detailing, construction documents.
  • Cost estimates and scheduling.
  • Coordination with client, AOR, GC, MEP etc.
• Organizing presentations to both clients and consultants
• As a lead, you will be the main conduit and producer on a project externally and internally.
• Proactively stepping in to support your teammates.
• Clear communication and ability to prioritize are crucial to keep the team going.
• We all must operate with a sense of urgency while still delivery a high-quality product.
• We are all required to wear multiple hats, not just for the design team but for the company as whole and contribute to our overall culture.
• Ability to negotiate with contractors and subcontractors

Qualification Requirements

• Proficiency in Revit and Sketchup required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 5+ years of experience in an architectural or interior design firm
• Licensure not required but preferred depending on position and project
• Proficiency in CAD, Adobe Suite, Enscape, and Revu preferred
• Experience with custom details, material specification, and fabrication preferred
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Fast learner, self-starter, and ability to complete tasks with minimal direction.
• Animal lovers preferred.

Additional Information:

• This is a full time position
• Hours are M-F from 9 -5:30 pm
• This is an in person position located at 840 11th Ave (East Village, Downtown San Diego)
• Salary Range $75 - 90k / yr
