What to Expect We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web UX/Design Specialist to support our Web & eCommerce team in enhancing the website’s user experience. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to design, test, and iterate on web features that improve usability, increase engagement, and drive conversions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for user-centric design and data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: · UX/UI Design: Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new website features, product pages, landing pages, and homepage elements that align with business goals and enhance the user experience. · A/B Testing: Develop designs and concepts for A/B and multivariate tests, working with analytics and development teams to analyze results and implement winning variations. · Website Updates: Partner with marketing and development teams to design and implement regular updates to banners, promotional assets, and content layouts. · Usability Improvements: Conduct user research in conjunction with the analytics team, gather insights from analytics, and recommend UX improvements to address customer pain points and optimize conversion paths. · Design Systems: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency across the website. · Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, development, and brand teams, to align designs with brand guidelines and customer expectations. · Feedback Integration: Leverage customer feedback tools (e.g., surveys or heatmaps) to refine designs and user flows. Qualifications: · 2-4 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in an eCommerce environment. · Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD and/or Figma · Knowledge of user-centered design principles and usability best practices. · Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for desktop and mobile interfaces. · Familiarity with A/B testing concepts and tools (e.g., Kameleoon, Optimizely) and analyzing test results to drive design decisions. · Basic understanding of front-end web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to communicate effectively with developers. · Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail, layout, typography, and responsiveness. · Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team. Required Skills & Technical Competencies · Experience with Shopify or other eCommerce platforms. · Knowledge of heatmaps, session recordings, or customer feedback tools (e.g., Clarity, Hotjar, etc). · Familiarity with SEO principles and how design impacts organic traffic. · Experience in designing for accessibility (WCAG compliance).
