Position Overview DCG is seeking a Paid Media and Analytics professional to lead the strategy and execution of advertising campaigns for multiple federal clients. This Paid Media Marketing Manager will join DCG’s growing paid media practice supporting mission-driven campaigns to educate and inform the American public and serve the common good. Examples include preventing Veteran suicide, human trafficking, protecting youth online, and targeted violence; educating Veterans and their families about available care and services; federal employment and military recruitment; and international public diplomacy campaigns intended to advance United States foreign policy interests abroad. Location While DCG will consider remote candidates for this role, there is a strong preference for candidates presently located within 50 miles of Washington, DC. Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all aspects of the paid media campaign lifecycle including planning, placing, optimizing, and measuring return on investment (ROI) and overall effectiveness. This includes:
Gathering requirements and identifying measurable, achievable goals/objectives aligned with client policy and communications objectives and desired outcomes/impact Designing full-funnel campaign strategies, recommending appropriate media mix and budget allocations (digital and traditional), developing media flowcharts, and defining and implementing measurement approaches Partnering with and advising project, communications, and creative teams regarding creative concepting, developing impactful messaging, and producing dynamic asset suites which complement all platforms and placements Oversight and execution of performance monitoring, generating insights, implementing strategic optimizations, and producing performance analyses and reporting deliverables Developing data-driven recommendations for long-term campaign improvement and evolution.
Ensure best possible use of taxpayer dollars and maximize ROI, including balancing performance, quality, and volume in alignment with campaign goals and objectives Evaluate, select, and manage vendors and buying partners including integrated teams of multiple vendors/partners for larger or more complex campaigns Set up, traffic, and optimize ad buys in a variety of platforms as required. Note: Not all campaigns require hands-on-keyboard campaign setup and execution. However, the individual in this role will be required to do so for some smaller or short-term campaigns. Produce deliverables including overarching media strategies, tactical execution plans, and performance reporting in a range of formats including PowerPoint decks, narrative documents, verbal briefings, digital dashboards, etc. and engaging with clients to facilitate buy-in and approval Support integrated performance reporting across paid, earned, owned, shared, and outreach tactics to generate qualitative insights, inform strategy and optimizations on an ongoing basis, and measure overall campaign effectiveness. Note: Not required for all campaigns, but this individual may be required to support performance measurement for non-paid tactics if required for specific campaigns Proactively identify tactical challenges, recommending and implementing solutions Maintain up-to-date knowledge of media trends, technologies, and innovations and creatively applying them to the federal marketing space Support the growth and development of DCG’s paid media practice including contributing to new business development, team education, and skill set building, and overall marketing of services to federal clients Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or other related field 10+ years of experience in digital marketing and paid media strategy 5+ years of media planning and reporting experience, to include data analytics Relevant social media and digital marketing certifications such as the Meta Social Media Marketing certificate, applicable Google marketing certifications, Trade Desk, Stack Adapt, X Business, Meta Ads Manager, and/or other relevant training (please list in your application) Proven experience leveraging analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Power BI, Tableau, and automated digital dashboards to facilitate performance monitoring/measurement and generate qualitative insights and recommendations Experience with platforms such as Google, Snap, Meta, and Roblox Proficiency in Out-of-Home advertising methods Demonstrated ability to communicate, both written and verbal, with people at all levels of an organization, including asking questions to inform task scope, prioritization, etc. Desired Qualifications
