Overview
Content Specialist plays a key role in Confluent Health’s Marketing and Communications Team, overseeing content strategy, writing and development, and tactical execution across multiple audiences, including patient education pieces for Confluent Health’s 50+ partner brands, external B2B audiences, physical therapy talent attraction, internal employees, and more. This role manages content across multiple channels—social media, blogs, website, PR, video, podcasting, e-newsletters, and more—ensuring consistency, engagement, and alignment with Confluent Health’s brand voice and messaging.
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in content strategy, copywriting, proofing, and digital marketing, with expertise in healthcare marketing, B2B and B2C communications, and talent brand marketing. This person must thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and highly creative environment while effectively managing multiple projects and priorities.
Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Development
- Develop and execute a multi-channel content strategy that serves Confluent Health’s key audiences (patients, B2B, talent, and employees).
- Create compelling written content for various platforms, including blogs, landing page copy, email campaigns, internal communications, talent marketing assets, print collaterals, and social media.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and creative teams to produce engaging visual and multimedia content (e.g., videos, podcasts, infographics).
- Oversee implementation and asset development of the content calendar, ensuring alignment across all channels and brand consistency.
- Supports the development of press releases, thought leadership pieces, award submissions, and external PR content to support Confluent Health’s public relations efforts.
Social Media & Digital Content Management
- Own the social media strategy and execution, managing content from ideation to publication across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Monitor social media performance and engagement, optimizing strategies based on data insights.
- Support reputation management, including responding to reviews and maintaining HIPAA-compliant patient communications.
- Assist in SEO-focused content development to improve online discoverability and audience engagement.
Communication Audiences
- Lead content production to support Confluent Health’s 50+ outpatient physical therapy companies with engaging content that educates patients.
- Support Talent Marketing Director’s content strategy to attract and engage clinical physical therapy professionals.
- Support internal communication initiatives, ensuring employees are informed and engaged through email, intranet updates, and internal brand storytelling.
- Assist with change management communication, helping to guide employees through organizational updates and transitions.
Project Management & Collaboration
- Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, PR, digital marketing, and leadership teams to ensure cohesive messaging and content execution.
- Provide strategic input on content-related initiatives, advising on video, podcast, or multimedia needs.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, audience insights, and content best practices to continuously optimize content strategy.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with experience creating both short- and long-form content.
- Familiarity with healthcare, wellness, or medical marketing preferred.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems, and digital marketing tools.
- Experience with SEO, analytics, and content performance measurement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
