Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled individual to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer troubleshooting, multimedia content creation (including Canva), audiovisual systems, and website administration. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to write clearly and effectively are also essential. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment and enjoys helping others succeed with technology.

Compensation: $22-$25/hr

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides hands-on troubleshooting for computer hardware and software issues.
  • Set-up, maintain and troubleshoot audio visual equipment for meetings, presentations and performances.
  • Ensure all technical equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Create visually appealing graphics, presentations and advertising materials using tools like Canva.
  • Edit and Optimize videos, images and other multimedia content for various platforms.
  • Must use and troubleshoot Microsoft Word and Excel: being able to create spreadsheets, organizational forms, etc.
  • Assist team members with mastering these tools to improve productivity.
  • Manage and update website content in a WYSIWYG environment.
  • Administer passwords to new residents and verify residency.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with audiovisual equipment setup and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service and work well as a team.

Education & Experience:

  • Experience in basic IT support, multimedia production or related role.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and website platforms.

Physical Requirements & Working Environment:

  • Able to lift, push, pull at least 45lbs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Tools & Equipment Used:

  • Canva, Excel, MS Teams, other office software.

Travel:

  • Travel to other clubhouses in the community.
