GENERAL FUNCTION:

  • Provide product support to PM and PSM for Total Life Cycle Systems Management.
  • Assist in logistics data analysis, procurement, and sustainment of critical assets, insurance spares, tooling, and related parts.
  • Help develop, maintain, and execute Postproduction Support Plans, Transition Plans, and strategies for phased execution.
  • Apply knowledge of acquisition logistics, policies, and procedures to Air Force systems and subsystems.
  • Support software development, sustainment, and avionics testing and repair.
  • Conduct studies, data collection, parts verification, and supportability analysis at Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG).
  • Develop and review logistics support documentation (ILSP, LCSP, technical manuals, etc.).
  • Assist in identifying solutions for Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS).
  • Coordinate logistics efforts for spares, support equipment, technical data, and other materials.
  • Support program reviews, meetings, and provide status updates for assigned projects.
  • Advise the Government on acquisition strategies for parts and components, utilizing systems like PROS, and coordinate global cargo movement in accordance with AMC and U.S. Transportation Command guidelines.
  • Apply detailed knowledge of aircraft/weapon system depot maintenance tasks, ensuring work cards are accurately timed and maintenance tasks are sufficient.
  • Collaborate with depot personnel, use maintenance systems to track progress, and provide status updates to the Government.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:

  • MA Degree and at least 20 years of experience in the related field, 12 of which must be with the DoD, OR, BA Degree and at least 25 years of experience related to the position requirements, 15 of which must be with the DoD, OR, 30 years of directly related experience, 20 of which must be with the DoD.
  • Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret Level.
  • Must be able to perform functional duties independently.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Preferred experience with Wide Area Workflow and D043 is desired.
