Position Overview:
Hill Holliday is seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Media Buyer, to focus on a select subset of our National brands. This role will oversee the buying, and execution of media campaigns tailored to these brands, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and maximizing impact across various channels, focusing on linear TV, CTV, OTT, and audio. The Senior Media Buyer will help manage the day-to-day operations of the clients media buys and budgets, while managing associate buyers.
Responsibilities and Skills:
Leadership
- Management experience beyond oneself. Understands the value of developing others and guiding junior team members by providing constructive feedback.
- Able to prioritize work, manage through change and help support junior team members through change.
- Plays a supporting role in team and client meetings.
- Manage Buyer and Associate in performance and stewardship of buys
- Proactively identify issues to Investments Director with proposed solutions for resolution

- Diplomatically manages feedback from various team members and perspectives.
- Strong communication skills to ensure ream has what is needed to be successful.
- Enjoys working with different people who bring new ideas to the table.

- Experience managing projects and deliverables with little oversight.

- Up to date on current media trends, audience demographics, and emerging advertising technologies.

Desired Experience:
- Proven track record of exceptional negotiation skills
- Demonstrate excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and ability to think on your feet.
- Strong mathematical abilities
- Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Familiarity with media buying platforms, ad serving technologies, and campaign management tools.
- Proficiency in Strata a plus
- 3+ years of experience in an advertising agency
- Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or related field
