Job Description
We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Web Design Architect located in DES MOINES, Iowa, United States. As a Web Design Architect, you will be tasked with an array of responsibilities ranging from keyword placement and SEO practices to website content management and administration.
Responsibilities
• Ensuring the implementation of On-Page SEO and best Search Engine Ranking practices.
• Writing, editing, and publishing content for agency websites.
• Employing Web Accessibility practices for user-friendly interfaces.
• Managing Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for website optimization.
• Utilizing SEO tools like Monsido and Crazy Egg for website enhancement.
• Administering customer accounts on common Content Management Systems such as Drupal and WordPress.
• Removing pages from indexing where 404 errors occur in Google Search Console.
• Producing Google Analytics Reports for performance tracking.
• Preparing and delivering user training documentation and sessions.
• Loading content into Drupal websites for agency updates.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Government sector• Proficiency in On-Page SEO and understanding of Search Engine Ranking
• Familiarity with Search Engines and their functioning
• Proven experience in ensuring Web Accessibility
• Proficiency in using Google Analytics and Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
• Experience with Google Tag Manager
• Knowledge of Crazyegg software
• Experience with Content Management System (CMS) and Content Management
• Proficiency in Drupal CMS
• Experience with Wordpress CMS and managing Wordpress Sites
• Please note: Familiarity with the government sector is a must.
