AutoCAD Artist, Entertainment (Art & Design) Job at Universal Studios in Orlando

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for AutoCAD production for projects implemented by Entertainment Art & Design. Works closely with the Design Team to develop elevation drawing packages required to design and create themed environments for Marquee and/or Capital projects.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate computer-aided drafting AutoCAD equipment or conventional drafting station to produce designs, working drawings, charts, forms and records.
• Partner with Scenic Designers to produce drawing packages for the purposes of design and construction bids, including translating 3D SketchUp models into 2D architectural drawings.
• Work within UO standards, Art & Design processes and constraints, General Performance Specification, city codes and specifications, etc. in all design documents.
• Follow drawing format as specified in the “HHN CAD Manual” for all Halloween projects as assigned.
• Provide as-builts for on-site locations, including in-field measurements as requested.
