Assignment: 3 hrs. Per day, 5 days a week.
EESP Salary Schedule Rate Range:
· $25.17 - $28.93
Benefits Include:
- Twelve (12) Days Sick Leave per school year
· Two (2) Personal Leave Days with pay per year
· Washington Paid Family Medical Leave
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- WSP/FBI fingerprint background clearance (fee paid by the employee)
- Ability to sight read music
- High proficiency in piano playing
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a school or other setting preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Responsibilities:
- Play accompaniment for choral songs, music solos, and band
- Be able to sight read notes and rhythms, play in different musical styles, adjust to key and/or meter changes within a song, watch choral director for musical cues while playing, attend all concerts and scheduled performances.
- Play parts for rehearsal
- Be able to play choral parts separately and together, be patient during much repetition, able to do all of the above during rehearsal of parts as well.
