Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect & Generate Leads: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts.
  • Client Consultations: Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide tailored insurance solutions to meet business owners needs.
  • Sales Presentations: Present and explain policy features, benefits, and pricing to prospective clients.
  • Customer Service: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing ongoing support and policy reviews.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and state regulations.

Requirements

Education & Licensing:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Valid insurance license (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)

Sales Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, or a related industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in prospecting, cold calling, and lead generation


Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to explain complex insurance products clearly and persuasively
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline and handle multiple client accounts
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset


Technical Proficiency:

  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales tracking tools
  • Familiarity with industry-specific platforms (preferred but not required)

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally as needed
