POSITION SUMMARY

Our multi-state capital goods sales and service (distribution) business needs a Marketing Intern for the summer of 2025. The Marketing Intern is needed to strengthen the company’s ability to focus on developing and supporting a fluid pricing strategy. This role will be responsible for conducting research, generating strategy, and implementing steps to support proposed strategy.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists in the planning and implementation of marketing activities – including but not limited to:

  • Researching, proposing, and implementing pricing strategies for company consumables
  • Providing reports on company pricing vs market and similar metrics
  • Focusing on the development of promotions to drive conversions
  • Updating product fields on the e-commerce site
  • Assisting with drafting literature, copy, and other supporting materials as needed to promote products/services
  • Assisting with creating email marketing campaigns to announce product/service promotions
  • Participating in monthly marketing meetings with the team
  • Performing tasks related to upholding company brand on all platforms (website, socials, and literature)

CORE EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, operations, finance, or related fields
  • Experience in creating or assisting with strategic pricing strategy

PREFERRED
  • Experience with WordPress or e-commerce platforms
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing tactics
  • Familiarity with manufacturing industry
  • Familiarity with Constant Contact/email marketing platforms

MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to be on your feet while performing job requirements

Ability to sit for periods depending on the job requirements.

Frequent alpha/numeric keyboarding.

Ability to view a computer for periods.

Ability to exert up to 10-20 pounds occasionally.

Ability to balance, reach, and grasp as needed for the job.

Ability to crouch, grasp, and lift products above shoulders to lift boxes and products from the floor properly.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • This position will require 30-40 hours/week
  • This position is located in the office, not remote or hybrid.
  • This position is non-exempt.
