Job Overview:

We are seeking a mechanical SolidWorks designer. This individual will be part of the R&D and engineering department and work closely with Production to design fans and exhaust systems. Responsibilities will include producing detailed models, assemblies, and production drawings for new and existing products. Responsibilities will include:

• Provide/Develop Fabrication Documentation
• Maintain Updated Fabrication Documentation
• Continuous Design Improvement
• Product Revision Control - ECN
• New Product Design/Development
• Technical Documentation Content
• Maintain/Update CAD Library

Minimum Requirements:

• Expert in SolidWorks creating parts, assemblies, design tables and drawings.
• Specific to castings & sheet metal
• 3+ years experience with advanced SolidWorks in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with full Product Lifecycle Management or Product Data Management
• Proficient in AutoCAD creating 2D drawings.
• Detail oriented, organized with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects.
• Ability to communicate with sales, engineers, and outside customers.
• Familiar with engineering process, revisions, ECR, change orders, etc.
• Proficient with MS Office and Adobe.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with Windsheilds or Windchill

Compensation:

$30/hr to $35/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
