About The Role

The Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing acquisition marketing initiatives that drive qualified traffic and new purchases. From ideation to execution, you will create a best-in-class customer acquisition journey leveraging analysis, industry trends and performance data. Reporting to the SVP of Growth and Strategy and working collaboratively across the team (including the creative, digital and analytics functions), this role is crucial in scaling our business via increasing our customer base. The ideal candidate brings experience both strategizing and executing across paid media channels (such as Paid Social, SEM, Affiliate, etc.) and encourages a growth-oriented mindset within the team every day.

This full-time role is hybrid and will work out of Local Eclectic’s new headquarters in the Streeterville neighborhood of Chicago beginning March 2025 4 days per week, plus 1 day remote.

What You’ll Do

Increase customer acquisition through testing new channels, targeting new audiences and trying new growth-oriented ideas Plan, create, and execute paid media campaigns across mature and new channels Own the acquisition marketing calendar of events, supporting acquisition-specific goals as well as overall marketing and product goals and stories Collaborate with the Art Director and Photographer to ensure creative assets meet the needs of acquisition channel goals and enable A/B testing Own and lead collaboration for testing and new channel development

Work with the digital development team to implement full-funnel testing plans, ensuring the on-site experience is fully optimized for a new visitor’s experience Establish the test-and-learn agenda around audience targeting, offers and creative formats and continually optimize programs

Deliver measurement and insights

Own customer data and analysis. Track and regularly analyze acquisition channel performance to consistently deliver actionable insights that can be applied across functions (like digital, app, product, and even operations) Work with the CRM Marketing Manager to understand the behavior and LTV of newly acquired customers and the areas for optimization from those ongoing learnings Lead the evolution of measurement and KPIs, considering the changing environment around customer data and privacy

What You’ll Need

5+ years of digital acquisition marketing experience Deep experience managing and executing campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Google, etc Experience testing and standing up new channels such as Tik Tok, YouTube App marketing experience is ideal Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and report on data, and proficiency in Excel Detail and quality oriented; ability to understand and deliver an inspiring brand experience Entrepreneurial, self-starter mentality; highly collaborative and communicative Analytics-savvy and up-to-date on innovative tools, platforms, and resources Familiarity with web and BI analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) Startup, ecommerce and Shopify experience preferred What We Offer
