The Player and Talent Relations team is responsible for establishing and strengthening relationships with all 32 NFL teams, current and former players and coaches, sports marketing representatives, agents, celebrities, media members, and others. Those relationships are a crucial function to the day-to-day operations of the department, which includes the coordination of interviews and shoots with talent for NFL Films programming as well as assisting with booking narrators and voiceover talent.
Essential Functions
- Scheduling interviews and shoots with players, NFL team personnel, celebrities, media members and other talent needed for NFL Films programming
- Managing all Voice Over talent requests. Responsibilities include: negotiating rates, onboarding new talent, processing invoices and maintaining internal narrator database
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with team staff, agents, marketing reps, current and former players
- Strong administrative and research skills are essential. Responsible for maintaining the department’s interview database and contacts through Airtable, communicate shoot information interdepartmentally, and maintain all digital files.
- Assist the Footage Acquisition team when needed to acquire and clear Intellectual Property from outside sources such as players, or players’ families.
- Coordinate with Business Affairs to prepare talent agreements and assure execution and filing of all releases.
- Responsible for onboarding talent, creating requisitions, and receiving invoices for talent payments.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree / Communications or Sports Management preferred
- Experience working with professional athletes and celebrities.
- Production experience required
- Contacts within the Sports/Entertainment world
- Deep Football knowledge
- Computer skills required including Microsoft Suite, TEAMS, Airtable, Internet research ability, and be well versed with social media.

- Need to be self-motivated, extremely organized, detail oriented, a team player, and able to juggle ongoing multiple projects.
- Must be able to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to function effectively in an environment that constantly changes without notice and still deliver
- Possess a love for football and extensive knowledge of sports in order to be equipped to pitch story ideas for future features/documentaries
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
