ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Visual Merchandising Associate to join the KHAITE team. This role will be based in our NYC office reporting to the Director, Visual Merchandising and will be based out of the NYC HQ offices. This role will support the Director, Visual Merchandising in the development and execution of visual merchandising strategies across KHAITE's global wholesale and retail channels - with a focus on design and administrative support.
The Visual Merchandising Associate will be a part of a dynamic, creative atmosphere working with cross-functional partners to ensure that KHAITE's visual merchandising standards are continuously elevating the in-store client experience.

The salary range is $65,000-75,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidates' relevant skills and experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support VM Director as key owner of all VM decks, training tools, and collection documents.
- Support VM Director with the visual merchandising display of all assigned retail and wholesale stores, market activities and events.
- Support in the planning and execution of global pop ups, pop-ins and SIS projects, as well as seasonal window display.
- Partner with Merchandising, Sales and VIC team to create detailed planograms and tailored VM guidelines for store openings, trunk shows and events.
- Merchandising of the NY Mercer Flagship, Madison Avenue Store, plus local SIS as needed. Quarterly travel to visual merchandise stores and train in Dallas and California.
- Responsible for ongoing NY showroom maintenance.
- Maintain project budgeting and oversee production details for timely and organized deliveries, in stock supply, and distribution of VM props and fixtures.
- Personally support the brand's direction through pursuit of consistent standards across all retail and wholesale points of distribution.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong creative ability; ability to "think out of the box". Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize.
- Detail oriented, strong administrative and logistics skills.
- Works effectively cross-departmentally, divisions and operations to manage company-wide visual merchandising projects.
- Excellent communication and presentations skills, a high level of autonomy and adaptability required.
Education/Experience:
- 3-5+ years of experience in visual merchandising and presentation working in the luxury/fashion retail sector.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge in Adobe Suite (photoshop and InDesign) is preferred.
- Flexible to travel 25%
