JOB SUMMARY
The Utah Jazz are seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to support and elevate the creative efforts of Utah Jazz Youth initiatives, including Jazz Camps & Clinics, Junior Jazz, Kids Club, and Shoot 360. This role will focus on developing engaging digital and print graphics that inspire and connect with young fans, families, and communities. Under the direction of the Graphic Design Manager, the ideal candidate will be technically proficient, highly creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about youth engagement through sports. Candidates must submit a portfolio or portfolio website for review.

Primary Duties
- Design and produce digital and print-based graphics for Utah Jazz Youth programs, including but not limited to Junior Jazz, Jazz Camps & Clinics, Kids Club, and Shoot 360.
- Collaborate with the marketing, community relations, and youth programming teams to create engaging visuals that enhance brand identity and fan experience.
- Maintain brand consistency across all Utah Jazz Youth materials while contributing fresh, innovative ideas.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Stay current on design trends, youth engagement strategies, and emerging technologies.
- Assist in managing and organizing creative assets and files.
- Protect the reputation of the company.
- Exemplify the Utah Jazz mission and values: transparent, all in, community obsessed, one team, and scrappy.
- Accept other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
- 4-year degree in graphic design or related field.
- 1-2 years applied design-related experience, or a body of work that reflects equivalent experience.
- Web portfolio demonstrating strong skills in graphic design, branding, layout design, typography, photo editing, and print with attention to detail.
- Speed and proficiency with current Adobe Creative Suite on MacOS.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to work well on quick turnarounds and short deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
